About this site

Mental Health Training UK (mentalhealthtraining.uk) provides independent information about mental health training courses in the UK and a service connecting enquirers with accredited trainers and scheduled courses.

Information, not advice

Content on this site is general information to help you compare training options. It is not medical, clinical, legal or professional advice. Course details, accreditation arrangements and typical prices can change; always confirm specifics when booking.

This site does not provide crisis support. If you or someone else needs urgent help, call 999 in an emergency, or contact Samaritans free on 116 123 (24 hours a day, every day).

Trademarks and independence

MHFA England®, MHFAider® and other course and provider names mentioned on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners. Mental Health Training UK is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of MHFA England, Public Health Scotland, St John Ambulance, First Aid Awards Ltd, i-act or any other awarding body. References to these programmes describe the training market; certification is always issued under the rules of the relevant awarding body by the accredited instructor delivering your course.

Bookings

Where we connect you with a partner trainer, your training contract is with the trainer or provider who delivers the course, on their terms — including payment, cancellation and rescheduling. Where you book a place on one of our own scheduled courses, the applicable terms are set out at the point of booking.

Liability

We take care to keep information accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is error-free and accept no liability for decisions made solely on the basis of it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
